Swtiching iPhone 4S color....and restocking fees?

I have the iPhone 4S in black.....but want to exchange it for white (got it through ATT.COM). Um....do I have to pay the restocking fee for switching colors? I'm not sure if they're still having preorder issues...I can wait...I still can keep the SIM I think so I'll be fine with calls. So jealous of the white color right now...:

If you open the box, you will most definitely be charged a restocking fee.

Oh really? I didn't get charged. I exchanged for a white 4s from the black. They did not charge me. I went through apple store.

I should have said AT&T will charge a restocking fee. From past experience, if you want to exchange a phone that is not defective, they'll charge you.
