Hello,
I've had my 3GS for almost 3 years now and I finally upgraded to the iPhone 5. Since I travel a lot to Germany, I decided to put in a Factory Unlock request for my iPhone 3GS. I have never had a late payment or outstanding dues on my account, so I'm guessing it's in good standing.
However, I only entered the request in today but I already have a question. I've seen a lot of websites explain that I need an ACTIVE SIM CARD in my older iPhone 3GS in order to unlock it via iTunes. The problem is, the SIM Card inside the iPhone 3GS got deactivated once I activated my new iPhone 5. And I can't stick in my iPhone 5 sim card since it's a Nano-Sim Card and is way too small. How would I be able to unlock my older 3GS once I do get the clearance?
Thanks in advance!!
- Darius
