OtterBox Armor Cases for iPhone 4/4S,5

Anybody else heard about the new Armor cases that was announced today at CES 2013? It will be available for purchase on February 22, at Otterbox.com and ATT Corperate Stores. It suppose to be waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, etc., if I'm not mistaken it will cost $99.95. My next question is will you buy it, or consider it?

It looks too bulky. I have a Lifeproof case that's only slightly bigger than the Otterbox Reflex case and can be found for under $50.

The older version of the Armor series does look bulky, but newer version looks better. Will wait and see when Armor cases is available to purchase. Some people think it is too expensive for case, but still consider paying $$$$ for new iPhone? But, like I said wait and see.

I wouldn't even consider it, personally. If I'm so worried about damaging the iPhone that I'm going to spend $100 for a case, I probably don't need the phone in the first place.

$100 for a case is absolutely absurd. The iPhone 4S retails for a penny less on contract.

I spent $100 for my iPhone 5, however, it wasn't a case. I purchased Apple Care + . If I drop and damage my 5, I can take it into an Apple store for a replacement.

This is what someone can expect to pay the first time they get the phone. However, if one drops their iPhone and they smash the screen or cause other damage, they'll pay a heck of a lot more to replace it.

OOW repair can cost $199, or in some cases less or nothing, depending upon the circumstances.

This is for the 4/4S. The OOW repair cost for my 5 would be $229. In which a case or even Apple Care + might be worth it to some.

I have a 32 G iPhone 5 also. For me, it would be a waste of money. To each his or her own.

I see this case serving a purpose for a limited market and for them this is invaluable. I would venture to guess that the defender case is more than enough protection in most instances where something more substantial than most cases is necessary.

I know I mark this post as accepted solution, and I clarify I got Otterbox Armor the other day. The reason the area I live rains alot, and repair "industrial equipment." My question is if people spend $200 to $400+ to upgrade to iPhone 5, what is another $100? Some people think the Armor case is expensive, and not buy it, it is already expensive with only iPhone 5 upgrade.
