No store receipt for new iPhone 4

For anyone who ordered their iPhone 4 from an AT&T store, and picked it up there, did you get a receipt?
I ordered mine, and picked it up at the store on Thurs. Morning, however, the store rep said that because I did a direct Fulfillment Order, the only thing that I get as far as a receipt, is the confirmation receipt, that I got on the day that I placed the order.…. However, I thought we should have received, either an invoice, OR a sales receipt, that has the date that the order got charged on my CC, as well as the devicses IMEI number...... Without this, how am I going to return it to the store before my 30 day trial period ends, or do an exchange if it starts to give me problems?

When you ordered it from the store, did you get a receipt? I ordered two iPhone 4s a week ago and I have two really long receipts that they gave me.

Ummm, is it really a "30 day trial"? I thought it was a purchase with a 30 day "buyers remorse" return policy...

Ummm, "30 day trial" or "buyers remorse", it's all the same to me. In the end, if I don't like the device, it goes back before 30 days, and my money refunded. I really don't care what it's called, as long as I get my refund! ![]()

Problem Solved: Turns out, I dealt with a rep. who didn't know what he was doing, because when he gave me my phone, he didn't give me the invoice that was in the shipping box like he was supposed to.... I was able to call CSD and they emailed a copy of the invoice to me...... To anyone else that is having their device shipped to the store, make sure the rep. gives you the invoice that's in the box before you leave, otherwise it will be thrown out, and you will need to get via email like I did........

Because I had already purchased an Apple care plan on the first iPhone 4 that I returned, Apple was requesting that I fax them a copy of my invoice so they could transfer the plan to my new iPhone 4. I did that a few minutes ago, and Apple already added the 2 years on to my new phone, so I wouldn't have to go and purchase another plan now. I really like Apple, those reps. are always so helpful........

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm glad it worked out for you.
And, yeah, the service I receive from Apple is some of the best I've had. Just one of the many benefits of owning an iPhone, rather than one from some of its competitors out there. I'd rather not have to go into a Verizon, T-Mobile store, etc., whenever I needed service or had an issue with my phone.
Its one of the reasons the type of dealership I purchase from factors into the decision making process when I'm selecting an automobile. No, its not everything, but service and even environment mean something to me.
