Need Help Moving MobileMe Contacts

I have my contacts set up on mobileme and they have synced successfully to my iPhone. The next I'd like to do is sync my contacts from mobileme or my iPhone to my computer and gmail account.  I've googled the topic and I feel like I'm doing everything correctly, but no success so far. I have went to info in iTunes and then contacts and changed it to sync my contacts to google and I've also tried windows address book with no luck. When I sync nothing happens to either my gmail account or my outlook address book. Any clue what I may be doing wrong? Is there a way to do this directly from my mobileme account?

Did you set upmobile me on your computer? If not you need to go to control pannel and look for the MobielMe Icon. Clcik on it and set it up from there. If you are using Vista, I recommend using the clasic view as it would be easier to spot the Icon.

I actually figured it out. You export from mobileme to a vcard and save on your computer, then you import to your other accounts. Surprisingly it was pretty simple.
