Last week, I bought no commitment Iphone 5 with full price in AT&T Store
I did a process to unlock on AT&T webpage, but they emailed me that
the service commitment for this iPhone has not been completed or no valid current/ former mobile number is associated with the request.
I tried to call 611 and other number
my number that I'm using with my Iphone 5 is gophone number (prepaid account)
but since my number is prepaid, I can't find any way to talk to a person in 611.
Is anybody know what should i do about this?
I also can't register AT&T account because my number is Gophone, so I can't do the live chat.

AT&T does not support iPhone as a GoPhone.

This is just a guess, but how about contacting an Apple corporate store...They might be able to unlock it for you. remember, this is just a guess, I have no information that this might be an option. Good luck.

Apple stores won't unlock AT&T phones. The request to unlock has to come from the carrier (AT&T)
thanks dwill

I have the same case. I went to the at&t store and asked them if I could keep my old number which is a prepaid account, and they did that for me.
