I'd like to block a phone number/person from calling me, is it possible?
I would also like to block them from entering my voicemail and leaving a message.
Any way to do this?

You can add a feature called Smart Limits to your account. http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/articles-resourc es/parental-controls/smart-limits.jsp

You could if you're willing to use www.Youmail.com as your VM provider.
First, you should assign that person to a silent ringtone, so that they go directly to youmail and would not even ring your phone.
Then you can set up that person's number in Youmail's "ditchmail" feature and have it hang up on them after they hear your custom message. "I don't want to talk to you ever again!" <hang up>. It won't let them leave any msgs.
Youmail and Visual Voicemail work the same except that you can create custom greetings per contact and "ditchmail". Another exception is that Youmail minutes are counted out of your airtime minutes, so if you don't have a lot of minutes to spare, do NOT use youmail.

wow, 5 bucks a month can add up over time. I'd say just jailbreak your phone and pay for MCleaner once and get free updates for life. But good to know that AT&T has this feature, though.

I would do Youmail, not the jailbreak thing. It's against terms of service to do that.
But you may also want to speak with AT&T and ask them about blocking specific telephone numbers.
