Has anyone ordering from AT&T received iPhone 5 shipping confirmation email yet

I ordered my iPhone at 10:30am Friday and got the confirmation it would arrive 9/21, but after a week it went from "processing" to cancelled last night at 11:00pm!  No email notices btw, i just happened to check status.  The ATT chat rep said it was a "bad address" so it was cancelled--but it is my billing address where my bills come each month!  And, to boot, AT&T has added the upgrade and shipping flawlessless to my October bill despite having cancelled the order.  The rep said not to worry because I'd get the phone by late October.

Update: Got a "shipped" e-mail this morning. AND--it's arriving today. Peculiar, but bravo to AT&T for delivering on the date they told me. I hope everyone else is finding this to be true.

Now, AT&T just needs to fix this wonky system.

(I was one of those who ordered Friday morning (8:45 PST) and whose order status showed "processing" all the way through yesterday.)

@teeej The more and more I read it just shows it was never "first come first serve". I had my order in at 7:59am and 8:03am PST. Glad I called this morning and got my activation fees waved.

Follow up to my "cancelled" above:  Took the confirmation and cancelled emails to an AT&T store this morning and asked if there was any way they could help.  As it just so happened 10 more iPhones are coming tomorrow (Sat) and I got a hand made voucher, #5 of 10 to come in tomorrow and pick up this phone.  They had people camped out all last night and sold their stock quickly, but it appears that drbbles of stock are still making their way to various retailers.

I received mine at 10:30 this morning. I'm up and running and pretty much pleased. Only complaint is the signal strength is 2 bars lower side by side with my 3gs.  BTW I ordered it  last Fri. at 4:30am. EST

I posted this in the other thread, but I thought I'd drop it here too...

For anyone that may be in a similar situation as I was.  I am now the proud owner of a brand new shiney iPhone 5.

My saga started last Friday at 4 AM CDT.  I placed my order over the phone with AT&T Enterprise Support (aka Premier).

After much craziness, I too landed in the 14-21 business days bracket.  Not sure why because I ordered plenty early, but something wierd about how they've processed these it hasn't made a whole lot of sense.

After many calls, yesterday I was assured it would ship today.  I checked back around 7 AM EDT and it had not, still processing.

I decided to give it a go and went over to an AT&T corporate store (not an authorized retailer, there's a difference).

They had my 32GB in black in stock.

As soon as it was confirmed I would be able to get one, I called the Enterprise (Premier) line.  I spoke to the rep and

asked them to cancel my preorder and reset my upgrade status since I had a phone in hand.

Now, he did ask how I placed the order, and I told him via phone to the Premier line.  It's possible to be able to cancel

your order you have to go to the origin of it.  He was able to cancel the order and reset my status in about 3-5 minutes time.

There was a person who was in front of me that ordered via the Premier website and he was able to cancel his order

via the website.  I think the store had to call into the Premier line and verify it and have them reset his upgrade status,

but he also was able to get his phone.

The long and short of it is, it is plausible to go to the store and get a phone.  You just have to be able to go to the origin

of where you placed your order and hopefully get it cancelled.  (Note:  I would not cancel your preorder until you have

the phone sitting in front of you ready to purchase, otherwise if something goes wrong trying to cancel you may be

out of luck on either side of getting it at the store and your preorder.)

I'm disappointed over the entire process, but the corporate store employees I worked with were fantastic and I'm

happy to have my phone now.

EPIC FAIL AT&T!  Ordered two phones on 9/14, one at 12:07 a.m. the other at 12:20 a.m. despite the numerous issues with their site.  Got notice I won't receive phones for two more weeks even though i received two emails and a text saying I would receive the phones by 9/21.  What really has me upset is that so many that ordered WELL AFTER ME, have received their phones already.  What happened to first come first serve?  Maybe some people "needed" theirs more than the rest of us?  I don't know, but I do that I'm a very very unhappy AT&T customer and I know I'm not alone today.

I ordered in the store on 9/14 around 9:30 am EST. I was finally able to use the digits under my barcode on receipt to get an order status update online. My phone has shipped yesterday & is due to arrive in the store by Monday.

i ordered mine 9 minnutes after 12 when preorders became avalible they quickley sent me an email saying it would be delivered on the 21st (yesterday) but i have yet to hear anything else from them or recieve my phone the status still says pending 

only 9 minnutes atfer 12 and this sucks!!!!! so upset at att right now!!!!

Have you received, and agreed to, the terms and conditions?  That seems to be a hangup for some people in that they never got them and that can prevent the order from moving forward

they sent me 2 emails right away the first one conferming the order and saying it will falsly be delivered on the 21st and that orders are dispached first come first serve. Then the next email came right after saying the order has been proccessed and i have not heard anything since nor has that status changed.  I just tried the terms and conditions webpage but it said no terms were required for any of the lines on my account (i tried the master line, and the upgrade line).

but after those rapidly recieved emails att has not contacted me or updated my order stattus, this whole process has been such a let down.

i tried both numbers associated with the account both the master and the upgrading phone.  both gave this message, so it looks to me like the TC is accepted?

Today I received my tracking info. I'm happy and a little suprised. Was think I was going to be waiting till oct. looks like many should have some hope as it seems AT&T is working faster than expected. Says Monday 24th round 3pm. Also I ordered mine in store at 10am cst 9/14.

No telling but I'd like to speak for others and say that it better be after att fufills it's 9/14-915 pre orders. Cause if I found out att stores got 2nd wave phone before I got my day 1 preorder itd be good by att.

Lesson learned....I'll NEVER pre-order online through AT&T again.  If I have to do a pre-order I'd do it through Apple.  My bro and I ordered the same day (9/14/12) and he got his (from Apple) on 9/21 while my order is still "processing".  There's a "hold" on my cc but that's it.  I may get it by Christmas at this rate.

I walked in to my local apple store on Sunday and the guy said they still have plenty in stock and are scheduled to have another shipment mid to late this week.. I pre-ordered the 16th because I was debating whether I wanted to take the chance in the store or deal with Premier.. I clearly am regretting my decision to say the least.
