Has anyone ordering from AT&T received iPhone 5 shipping confirmation email yet

Hope this helps.

This happened to me too!!! My brother and dads phones status is different and it says that the status is processing, but there is fedex and a shipping date. What does this mean? good or bad? HELP

My online status shows shipped but with no other information like carrier or date or tracking number. When i called in, the rep told me that status online is incorrect and it will take 14 to 21 days...what a .....(swear)

mine says shipped, but has no carrier info or tracking info.  I've several of these links, but it all says the same.  the automate voice prompts via phone also say shipped but no further info.

Did you try the link I posted? Called Fedex and gave rep tracking #. Rep said they have had package since 16th and scheduled for a bulk pickup tomorrow but couldn't give me any further info.

So here I sit on Wednesday evening with an order status of "shipped" (no tracking number yet) and the $$ previously held back in my checking account from AT&T are no longer there.  Based on some of these comments, is that a good sign that the phone will ship tomorrow and the money taken from my account?  I ordered at 9A on Friday, Pacific Time.

Do I have any hope for delivery on 9/21?  I have not been told any date, nor have I been told if my shipping will be delayed.

From what I've seen, that's a good sign (although if they follow past release trends, your card may not get re-charged until you have the phone in hand). I'm in the same boat, BTW. 

Addition: From the amount that the order status site is bouncing up and down tonight, I'm guessing they are dumping shipping info into the system like crazy in batches.

Nothing is certain until you receive a tracking #, that being said you should get it Friday. As has been stated elsewhere the systems are slow to be updated to say the least. Since the hold has been removed and you show a status of shipped that your card should be charged as soon as your iphone has left AT&Ts hands. That has been past experience anyway.

I'm just going to throw this out there even thought I'm afraid I already know the answer.... I ordered mine in store at about 0958est on 9/14 ...got the order confirmation email and all at 0958 but status is still showing backordered and the email said 14-21 days. Are preorders placed in a store for some reason not being processed as fast and sent out for the 21st as online or phone orders? Oh and I might add that the website still showed a delivery date for orders on the 21st after I got to work. Ideas anyone?

Hawk, another forum (9to5), that has an insider posting on it, states that if you change to backordered 0 by Thursday morning, you'll get the phone Friday. If you don't change to a 0 by Thursday morning, then you most likely won't receive the phone in time.

I pre ordered my iPhone 5 on 9/14 at 4 PM. I got the email with the order number and everything the next day but when I go to check the order status i get a error saying 'E0019: No order was found. If you recently placed an order, please try again later. Note: Information for orders placed within the past 24 hours may not be available.' Can someone please help me?

A couple of things to try...I'm assuming this is for an online order. If so, try tracking it with your cell phone number and the area code to which it will ship to. If you placed the order in a store try the tracking number and use the store's zip code. Also one of the phone automated systems might have it as well. Try checking your credit card and see if there is a hold placed on the account or if its charged. If either is the case you should be set. If not then a call to AT&T might be in order.

Before it was just showing shipped with no tracking number or carrier info. It now gives me a tracking number and carrier info for both phones. Interestingly enough, my wife's phone is getting shipped via UPS while mines is getting Shipped via FEDEX (wierd). The other thing that is weird is that my wife got a confermation that her phone whill arrive as early as sept 21st while i recieved the confusing email that mines wouldn't arrive for 14-21 business days. i went to both carrier sites and niether had shipping info on either phone as of right now. I'll keep everyone up to date as to the status.

Hawk, I also ordered from a store early morning 9/14 (10:55 AM Central) and my 32GB black still says processing backlog.  From what I can tell, seems like people that ordered online after me are gettign order confirmation but nothing on my store order either.

Well that's a bummer. So much for "pre order." I have to work all day friday hence the pre order. I also guess I would have gotten mine on time since its a 64gb white. Didn't think it would be as popular as say a 16 or 32. Oh well.

I placed my order for a Iphone 5 with premier on the 14th at 5:00 am central.  I immediately received a confirmation email but have not received anything else since.  When I use this website https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status  the only thing I see is my order for an Iphone 4 2 years ago.  Has anybody else has this issue?  Just want to know if my order was actually placed or not!  The premier status page still reads pending.

Estimated deliverly on 9/21 before 3:00pm (By FedEx site)

If I ordered mine at about 9:15am (I live in Louisiana. So central time.) does anyone have an idea when it might ship? On my order status it says pending shipment and both my sim and iPhone 5 are back ordered. Anyone have an estimate by chance?
