Has anyone ordering from AT&T received iPhone 5 shipping confirmation email yet [ Edited ]

Has anyone ran into this issue im having? Order just changed to Shipped on the ATT website. Thats a plus. But the over 200 dollars held on my account is no longer held its back in my account? :/  seems like a bad sign?

I just checked my order status and it says my order was shipped but I have no shipping info yet.

Got through the lines quick a minute ago. CSR rep informed me the order looks good. To wait for the shipping confirmation email. That it is odd that the money was put back into my account but it should be removed again. Lets hope shes right

The email I got right after I placed the order said it will arrive on 9/21. Order stil says its in process. I guess I'll just have to be patient but if Friday comes around and it's not here I'm gonna be really mad because I  stayed up until 3:0Adam EST to put my preorder in!

It's kind of funny.  I checked my credit card this morning and it had not been charged.  My order status says processing but a ship date was listed.  I have UPS Premium MyChoice service.  It will show shipments to my address even before I receive a tracking number.  It shows my delivery is scheduled for friday afternoon and has a tracking number.  My phone is coming from Fort Worth TX.

i would say the systems aren't coordinated. other than the email i received last night which was basically a repeat of my original email confirmation' You should receive you order as soon as 9/21, i have not heard anything from AT&T, yet i was able to get a tracking number and delivery date. I just checked my credit card again and my charge is still pending.

Well if i get it next week ill consider my self lucky. If i get it on friday ill go buy a lottery ticket. Just freaked me out when they took the hold off the money but csr says its ok? You say your getting ur phone sent from fort worth. are you in texans?

Out of 2 Iphone5 ordered (one black one white) the black one said shipped via fedex on 9/17 (with tracking #, but no avail on fedex website to track yet) and white one is still in process.

No, I'm in North Carolina.  I posted the info from UPS's website below, less my personal info.  As you can see, this says it will ship over night on 9/20 (it actually says label to be created on 9/20 also )for 9/21 delivery.  That's why I said it looks like things are happening before all systems can catch up.  The status on AT&T's website said it was shipped 9/17.

Mine says it was shipped on 9/17 on the AT&T website. And I got an email yesterday saying that my order is reserved, and should arrive as soon as 9/21. Also, it said I would be getting another email with the tracking number. Maybe it will arrive tomorrow, 9/20? If so, it's my birthday tomorrow, so that would be a nice gift....lol.

OK this is funny AT&T. This morning I checked my order status and it said processing but showed shipped on 9/16. Arrived at work and checked again and shipped changed to 9/17. Just checked one last time and shipped has reverted to 9/16.

lol yeah it is pretty nutty....but ive been with a crappy phone since i broke my 3gs just to wait for the 5.....but really i think its just the thought that i mighhht get it on friday that has me going

People relax! The money was put on hold. That money is going to come out today. The money was used as a process to reserve your order. So once it ships probably mid day today that money will be gone.

Order two 16gb, one white and one black around 2:40am on 9/14. Black one shipped via FedEx on 9/17 but when I check the FedEx tracking, it shows there is no tracking info. The white one still processing. I have the two charges as pending.

Going to that different site provided does give me a tracking number however when I clock it, FedEx says it has no record of having received it. Hopefully it just needs to be updated.

I've never pre-ordered before but I've ordered a number of phones through Premier and my experience with shipping has always been:

- It has always shipped via FedEx

- The shipment originated from Texas

- The shipment was delivered to FedEx late in the evening and the shipping confirmation email got sent at that time.

- It has always arrived within 2 days of being shipped. When I ordered my wife's iphone 4, it arrived the next day. I suspect the originating location is close to an airport as every time I've ordered a phone, tracking info has shown it getting to Fedex around 11PM and then getting to the Fedex central distribution location at about 3am.

Consequently, I expect Premier orders to start shipping tonight and many folks will be getting that shipping confirmation email late tonight/early tomorrow.

Mine now says shipped but no tracking....I called and they have no freaking clue. They might as well not even have a help line, they are not helpful. They also have not taken the money out of my account.

I called FedEX and finally got some useful info.  I hope this helps everyone.  The rep. at FedEx told me that our tracking numbers are valid but will not show up in their online system until probably tomorrow.  They have been given strict instructions from Apple to deliver the phones on Friday, Sep. 21st.  (This applies to all of those who ordered early and received an email stating they would be delivered 9/21/12.) If AT&T has listed FedEX as your shipper, as mine is, the FedEX rep. confirmed that they do have the phones at their facilities and will be delivering them 9/21/12.  They have until 8pm 9/21/12 to deliver them, per instructions from Apple.  The rep. could not confirm my name or address with the tracking number I gave her, but she did confirm it is a good number.  She said they have too many of these packages to have the information loaded completely.  She states that tomorrow we should be able to see the tracking information.  She believes that is when they have been told they can release the info.  I have not received any additional emails from AT&T since the original ones when I placed the order, like most of you.  When I click on the link in my email AT&T sent me to check my order status, it shows in progress with a ship date of 9/16 and fedex, no tracking number.  However, if I click on the link someone posted in here in the forum, it does give me a tracking number.  So, if you can't see a tracking number, try using this link: https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status  Also, if you call AT&T and get the run around, it's because they don't seem to know too much about what's going on.  The first CSR I got told me that my phone wasn't being shipped from AT&T until 9/20 and I probably won't get it overnight as it has to go to the shipper, I was not happy and I was worried as the charges on my credit card were no longer pending, they just don't appear at all when I checked on line, so she was looking into it further when I got disconnected.  I called back and got someone else who stated that she could see my tracking number, which she gave me and that FedEx has the phones, it was now in FedEx's hands as to when they will ship.  She recommended that I just keep trying my tracking number on their site.  Since I now had a tracking number, that's when I decided to call fedex and received all that info. Hope this helps.

Just checked calling an AT&T customer rep regarding my order delivery time.  She asked me first when the order was placed and I told her that it was @ 5am ET.  Based on the time the order was placed she said that the order will ship on 9/21 instead of arrive on 9/21.  It should ship FedEx or UPS and should arrive either Saturday or Monday.

Here's how to find out if they've shipped your phone out yet from China...follow the instructions. My phone is now in Kentucky and is scheduled for Friday via UPS.Cheers!

I don't know how true this is, I ordered my phone at 7:50am and got a processed e-mail within about 10-15 minutes, followed by a hold on my credit card.
