Soon as I saw it, I had the validation people check it and had the phone person load it to be pushed to all the iphones in the company

It took Google getting booted off the iPhone for them to produce a Maps app that was worthwhile. Seriously, why couldn't they have delivered vector maps & navigating a year ago (since Android Maps has had these features for a while).

Sorry I don;t believe the Maps app was worthwhile - the person in charge was removed from employement,

the few times I and my employee's used it, the directiosn to the location but you nowhere near where you had to go, in one case the end point was in the middle of the colorado river. Producing a app is one thing, but one of the requirements is that it actually does what it is supposed to.
Looks like Apple is going to take another beating

I'm not talking about Apple Maps. I'm talking about Google Maps. Android's version of Google Maps had vector-based maps and turn-by-turn navigation over a year ago. Google Maps for iOS didn't have those features until Apple booted them off the iPhone.
