I dont know if there is an AT&T issue or my iphone, but I cant log into the internet, get any weather updates on the app or get my facebook to work. I have reset my phone. I have only had the 4S for 2 days

try reseting the network connection - aare you sure it is trying to go out the cellular data or is it posible there is a wifi issue

I'm having the same issue. When at home and have wifi - my phone works fine, but once I leave the home, i have no data service whatsoever - no Edge or 4g. It's just blank next to the AT&T.
I have rebooted, toggled the cellular data, toggled airplane mode and reset my network setting. Nada. My visual voicmail has also not been working since my data went out - about 3-4 days ago. I've had my 4s for a little over a year and this is the first time this has happened.
would a new sim card resolve this?

My iPhone 5 has been disconnecting from its LTE connection. It shows LTE and good signal at the top, but anything that uses data stops working. I have to turn off LTE and turn it back on for it to work or I have to turn phone off. This happens all of a sudden or sometimes after a phone call. AT&T already reset me on the network and I also reset all network settings on phone. Please Help!

Depending on what OP meant by "reset my phone"...what exactly would resetting the network connection accomplish that doing a "phone reset" wouldn't be able to accomplish? Not trying to be argumentative but rather just curious--i.e., is there something that a network connection reset does that wouldn't be taken care of if the entire phone was reset instead?

can you veirfy that reeting the phone will reset the network settings, there are 3 choices
1. Reset all settings - when I did that on a sandbox phone it kept the wireless
2. erase all content and settings - this one did set everything back to factory and remove the wif configuration
3. reset network settings
Don;t see any mention of which option the op took

i went to an AT&T store yesterday and they told me that they are seeing this problem a lot - only with Apple phones. They think it's because they are upgrading the network to 4G LTE. The solution was just to change my sim card. no problems since.
Not sure if this is what is happening elsewhere - I'm in Hawaii.

I would tend to agree; for a few weeks before LTE was enabled in my market, my phone was acting funny. Additionally, my alarm companies cellular connecetion was exteremly flakey. Once LTE was live, all was good!

I guess "reset all settings" doesn't truly mean reset "all" settings, at least as far as the iPhone is concerned...LOL!!!

think about 3 percent of all the hype put out by apple is somewhat valid and most of that 3% is blue smoke and mirrors
