I had purchased an IPHONE 4s and returned it because the new one came out. Now they can't find it and I wont be able to pre order. Know I am out my money and my phone. This is just not right I called customer care and they can't do anything. I pay more then $130 a month for my service and they just don't care. This is the same bull that is causing so much problems everywhere. ATT is just a money Hungary system. When I am in Europe I can call anywhere in the world on 02 and its cheaper. Makes no sense to me what they are doing. ATT has until the 19th of September end of day to fix this or I am jumping ship.

When you returned the device was it in store or did you mail it back to ATT?
If you mailed it, what service did you use (USPS, FedEx, UPS etc) and did you insure it? Do you have a tracking number to prove you shipped it and show it was received?
If it show ATT received it, You should be able to get it reversed.
If not it could be an issue where you will need to file a claim with the carrier. If I was sending a phone back I would be try to insure it for not the 2 year contract price but the full non-commitment price. This way if you had to make a claim via the carrier, even thou you lost your upgrade eligibility, you would have the funds to re-purchase a phone outright or cover the lose of the phone and the cancellation fee if leaving ATT.

I'm sorry your returned phone hasn't been received.
As drumn_bass and planet_ed noted; can you tell us a little more about when/how you shipped it back to AT&T? Do you have the tracking information?

They fixed it by chargeing me full price and then credting my account. They could not fix the issue of the retun being in one system and not another. Now i wait in the long game of not having a iphone at all. ATT SUCKS
