AT&T iPhone 4S 3G speeds are the best!

Apple was right, the iphone 4s had 4G like speeds exclusively for at&t.
Just did a speedtest

Here is my result:
I have at&t and just did a speed test on the 3G network
The "4G like" speeds announced is true

AT&T data speeds are good, yes, but until they hit over 7.1Mbps down, which the 3GS and 4 can handle, I wouldn't call them "4G-like".

In theory.  In practice though, my iPhone 4 speed test was faster than your 4S speed test.  Again, unless you are seeing speeds over 7.1Mbps you can't really claim that it's due to the 4S.  That's not to say that it won't get there, but the 3GS was capable of 7.1Mbps, but I have only recently seen numbers nearing 6Mbps on my iPhone 4.  

I'm sure there are some areas, during some times of the day that will see numbers above 7.1Mbps, but my main point is: don't upgrade to a 4S based on the premise of increased network speeds, because it may be a while before you can reap that benefit.  Buy it for the camera, Siri, the super fast CPU, etc...

I will say that AT&T is much faster than the competition, though.
