Community Updates - New Avatars Available!

You might be aware that our community has needed a few updates. For instance, the current list of avatars for members to choose from has become long outdated.

Good news! We’re getting a “refresh” of avatars for our community members. Two improvements will be made this week.

First, new avatars including those chosen from the “cubist” collection – will be available by the end of the week. Are you ready to change yours? Choose from Animals, Food, Hobbies, Monsters, Music, Robots, Tech and Architecture. More selections will follow soon.

Second, additional AT&T-branded avatars will also be available for community members to choose from. These new avatars will use current corporate branding, themes and style. Categories will initially include Uverse, wireless phone operating systems, device manufacturers and more.

"So, how does this affect me?"

1. The new avatars will become available by the end of this week. They will be added to the current collection and can be viewed by logging into your account and clicking on My Settings, and choosing the Avatars tab from the Personal Profile page.

2. IMPORTANT! If you are currently using a classic avatar and you decide to change to using one from the new collections described above - you WILL NOT be able to revert back to using your old classic avatar. So, be sure you are willing to give up your current, classic avatar before choosing to use one from the new collections.

However, if you are currently using a custom avatar - you will be able to choose from the new collection while still being able to revert back to your custom avatar in the future. Note: A custom avatar is simply an image that you have uploaded to your account to be used as your personal avatar.

We will continue to add more avatars in the future for community members to choose from.
