No wifi on Galaxy Note 2 after update

It tells me 'Network Disabled. Poor connection' when I am at home. 2 feet away from wireless router.

I would like to say I have had no problem with wifi connection at any att store or any open wifi network including my home wireless network.

Ever since I did the update...cant get wifi. Nowhere.

Please help. Rooting my phone is NOT an option.

Anyone else having a problem?

I can see over  2000 views and I know community managers still state they never hear this complaint. private conversations  with them are nothing more than them stating they  will refer issue to tech support.

Has anyone got a resolution to this issue?

xDA developers state u have to root phone and flash 4.1.1 drivers back on

maybe 4.2.2 upgrade has fix?

The same is happening on my i717 Note 1!

Along with battery time cut is 1/2 - and it was bad before 😞

I nearly had to pay an extra $20 for data because the WiFi shuts off so often.

Apps are slow or "die" in the middle of being used.

Even the phone signal is not as good as it was before the 4.1.2 update.

I'd scream, but who is listening?  AT&T, are you out there?

Please fix this quickly! Verizon has been sounding better and better! 😞

I have gotten 3 or 4 AT&T updates since my problem started as well as a feww app updates. The problem slowly seemed to correct itself. I no longer have the problem. I use to reboot or kill all apps when I got home when trying to connect, which worked sometimes. Sometimes, it would just finally connect on it's own if I didn't bother it and left it laying beside the computer for a while. However, I'd sometimes lose the connection if I went into the next room but, luckily, I never went over my data limit. Since my last AT&T update in May I haven't had the problem at all. In fact, yesterday my phone connected instantly to my WiFi as I was driving up to the house before I even pulled into the driveway.

No. Wifi and bluetooth still have major problems. They'll come on occasionally but for the wifi it will not connect. When I touch it to scan, it'll turn off never to return until it wants to. I got the phone as a gift from the wife (Iphone junkie) and she's going to rub it in my face that the Iphone has never failed her. Maybe its time for me to go bland and dull (iPhone) or for my family to leave AT&T. So frustrating. With this issue i've gone over my data plan more than once. We've been loyalists since 2003. That's a long time just to say GOODBYE.
