HTC One X shows that SIM is not recognized.

Every once in awhile my phone will show me that my sim card is not recognized. Usually a reset resolves the issue, but then it happens again. Now I did drop my phone onto an asphalt parking lot and was told that this could have something to do with it as the fall may have jarred something lose, but wanted to see if this is the most likely scenerio or if this is an issue with the HTC One X. I don't recall if the phone did this before the drop or not.

This is known hardware issue with the One X.

My mother in law had the same problem and someone in a store taped the SIM to the SIM tray.
It didn't fix the problem entirely but the error is much less frequent.  Also, her phone also sporadically reboots.

After reading your reply and getting tired of resetting my phone up to 10 times a day, I applied double stick tape to two edges of the sim card, then inserted it into the sim tray. It worked and I haven't seen that message since. Thanks for the idea!
