Atrix HD not deleting texts

My text messages from my stock messenger are not deleting, instead all messeges are having times and dates changed to Dec 31, 1969, 6pm. I've read on other Droid boards of this happening, but no solutions were helpful. They were either for Verizon phones, or not the Atrix. Why is this happening? How do I make it go away? I've turned it off and on a dozen times. I also couldn't get my wifi to connect last night. And is their anyway to update to Jelly Bean without having to connect to wifi? TIA
