I ordered a Pebble Blue on 6/15 and my status has FINALLY updated to "processing" instead of "in progress" and no  more back-ordered. I'm so excited! This means my baby is almost coming home. Haha!

I finally received an email from AT&T premier order status. Thank you for pre-ordering the new 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S® III from AT&T.  Due to manufacturer supply constraints of the Galaxy S® III, your new smartphone is now expected to arrive no later than Monday, June 25, 2012.

For those of you wondering about Saturday delivery (because I was too), it is a standard delivery date for them, vs an exception. Here is a clip from their site:

Saturday Delivery
Saturday is a standard delivery day with FedEx Home Delivery

Just checked and mine has finnally shipped YAY! I ordered the white one on 6/6. In TX so of course shipping out of Ft. Worth.

Also got he email about it not coming til the 25th earlier, but it still shipped.

I ordered mine on 6/6 around 1pm cst. Premier.  I got the same messages everyone else has been getting.  I just kept calling and checking online it said backordered.  I called about 730p cst and it was confirmed mine was shipped next day delivery.  A couple hours later it I received

"Thank you for pre-ordering the new 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy S® III from AT&T.  Due to manufacturer supply constraints of the Galaxy S® III, your new smartphone is now expected to arrive no later than Monday, June 25, 2012."
 

So I was a litte confused first it shipped and will be overnighted by FedEx now it won't arrive until the 25th.  So I checked the shipping confirmation and it definitely shipped.    Good Luck with everyone else and Congrats to the ones AT&T kept their promise too.  I'm transfering servcie to AT&T from T-Mobile.  Not a good start as a new customer.  

BTW I ordered White.

Well my order moved from Backordered to Processing back at about 8pm ET..  It's still processing.

Ordered on 6/15 for Pebble Blue

I also received 2 e-mails from ATT in the last half hour telling me that I will received it by the 25th, etc., etc.

I'm actually happy if it comes on the 25th because that is when my Otterbox case arrives and I have butter fingers, so the case is essential to me.  lol

I didn't bother to check my order status so I don't know if it went from backordered to processing. But I did get an email at 8:30pm saying my White SGS3 preordered in At&t store on June 6 has been shipped. Not sure if that earlier delay notice from At&t means anything but to answer your question, yes I did get that notice and then about 4 hours later, I got an email saying my order has been shipped.

I finally got some correspondence from AT&T that started on their end..

Unfortunately it wasn't the shipping information.  It was the see you on 6/25 email.  

I ordered a white on 6/12 through the premier website.  Honestly, I am just happy to know that I'm in the shipping que.  All of the uncertainty was driving me bat**** crazy.  

Congrats to all of the proud galaxy owners who have their phone or their shipping orders...to all of the others in line, we are almost there!

My pebble blue S III arrived today, right on schedule. I preordered it on the 6th.
It was worth the wait! It is sleek, blazing fast and big beautiful screen. I have small hands and it fits nicely in my hand. I have been using it for about 12 hours now, installing apps, calling, surfing, facebook and twitter and it just now told me to recharge! I really like the feature of being able to just put the phone up tp my ear and it calls the person I was texting to. I think S voice is comparable to Siri. The phone has zero lag in execution of apps etc, the only very slight hesitation comes when I press the physical home button, but it is not a bad thing really. Pages on the net load almost as fast on 4g as they do on Wifi. It absolutely does watch your face and doesnt shut off the screen alot. Took some photos of my dog in the car and they are excellent, so clear. The one thing I miss is my keyboard on my HTC Inspire, I loved the directional arrows on it.
This is one great smartphone.

I got tracking info from FedEx saying expected delivery by 6/23 at 12pm..  So, if there is any doubt about Saturday shipping, there shouldn't be.

Has anyone had any problems with their phone heating up a little bit?  I was using it for hours non-stop and it seemed to get a little hot.  Just wondering...

I heard that can be a problem. There are a few cases where these phones caught on fire in the UK because of the ooverheating probem. If you google - Galaxy S3 UK fire, the article should come up.

Only one case not a few. No big deal apple iPhones heated up also. These phones are dual core with no processor cooling so iI CAN magine quad cores in the UK getting hot with high usage

Just as an update on my behalf, I received my email from AT&T with tracking information early this morning.  It will arrive via FedEx tomorrow by noon.

I ordered a pebble blue S3 on 6/14 at 4:00pm from an AT&T retail store in Texas.  I'm excited!
