Samsung Galaxy S2 ICS update problem

Actually I had never update my Gingerbread to ICS,

I was trying to do it over Kies yesterday, the program kept saying that Gingerbread is the latest firmware version.

Anyone has the same problem?

Check out Samsungusa.com for the instructions on how to update the S2 to ICS. The instructions are listed there!

If I were you I would leave the S2 on Gingerbread because ICS has a lot of issues on the S2 ranging from the system wide font being either to small or slightly blurry for texting, and web surfing etc among many other issues. If you go to ICS you will probably be posting back here on to get back to Gingerbread. . I went to ICS, and I was back on Gingerbread with in four days!

Have u tried OTA update via your phone?
I do know that even though it is released, different phones get it at different times

I have the same issue - after downloading Kies and doing the update it says gingerbread 2.3 is the latest firmware. I followed the tutorial online and tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kies and even a factory reset on my phones. Samsung support was awful , they kept asking me to do the same things and the AT&T people in the stores just look at me and say maybe it is not available...I saw rumors that 4.1 is coming out this month (heard that before!) and maybe they have pulled the 4.0 update from Kies due to some of the performance issues people were talking about. ANyone else have some insight?
