If you're open to buying it from an authorized reseller, you can check Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc. to see when they will have the AT&T version in stock.

I too am waiting for the white version of the Note 2. At least in the Seattle area, it appears the only color avail on Fri 11/9 will be the gray. (

Wow.  I thought I was the only one being picky about getting the right color I want.  Anyway, I briefly went over what other people wrote here and someone dismissed the white one by saying it's only a color.  I completely disagree with whoever said it.  I usually don't really care about the color either, but I have to say that the white marble looks way better than the titanium gray.  I actually went to both Sprint and T-Mobile stores to check it out in person.  The color and the finish they have on the white one is very well executed than the gray.  The material they used on gray looks and feels cheap and dull.  The white one definitely sets apart from the dull titanium gray.  They should've made a white one and a black one, just like iPhones. I just don't understand why AT&T wouldn't have it available for us.  I would've pre-ordered it the first day. 

This specific thread is about people anticipating the product they've been waiting for.  People who cares about what they want to use for the next 2 years, and knowing exactly what they one.  If you don't understand, and if you're used to settling less than you wanted, bring yourself to else where, and share your two cents over there, not here.

OK guys, I'm in Los Angeles so I called every possible AT&T store and authorized dealer within 30 miles. The ones I called either no stock or only had grey. One store said they only had "black" (he probably meant grey?) and one store said "we don't have them yet but we're getting 3 colors". 3 colors?!? I dunno about that. I finally tracked down a store that has stock AND HAS WHITE. He told me to call back tomorrow morning to get on the waiting list to reserve one. I hope this isn't too good to be true!!!! Gotta set my alarm to call 10am sharp cuz he said he only has a couple in stock. This was an authorized dealer shop.

Your only concern would be if you have grandfathered plans, as some of the authorized dealers don't have access to them in their system.  Was it an AT&T authorized dealer or a Radio Shack or other store that said that they would have white?

I want a phone.  While I have a preference for color, it doesn't affect the overall function of the phone.  I would rather have a phone in hand than walk around wishing for a color.  If you can't accept dissenting opinions, maybe a public forum isn't for you.

If I were you I wouldn't wait to call at 10AM if all possible I would be there first thing or send someone there at opening time of business and not take a change of missing out. Like all of us I just can't wait to have it. ;^p LOL!

I too have been hopelessly following the note 2 since it's anouncement, and waiting for the marble white version to finally become available for AT&T (I'm switching over from Sprint, since I'm unhappy with their service). I've spoken to numerous reps and have gotten different information from each one of them, and I have to say that I'm disappointed in the lack of information the AT&T reps seem to have about their own products; especially so close to release. But I have not lost hope lol. I contacted a few of my local AT&T stores (I live in Miami) and my friend who works for an authorized dealer. I was told by the stores that they will have the devices in later today in time for tomorrow's release, ANNNDDDDD!!!!  that the MARBLE WHITE version WILL be available-as to their knowledge...but to call back before end of business day to confirm that it came in with the order. While my friend that works as a salesperson at the authorized dealer location advised me that his location only ordered a few handsets, not sure which color, and that they probably won't be in till some time NEXT week-after release. I'm not sure if this is some marketing technique, or what! But the anticipation is driving me nuts!! I would be happy if someone were able to finally give me some SOLID information- instead of all these run arounds

Both gray and white will be available tomorrow.

They have enough products for both colors because unlike iPhone5, there was no problem with manufacturing Note 2.

They already have them at their retail stores.

because everybody knows that white one is more popular, so they wanna release and sell gray one first and get some margin of it.

You should be fine.  Check your local AT&T store again tomorrow morning to see if they have the white in stock once they actually get the shipment in.  Sometimes, the reps won't know what's actually coming until it gets to the store.

there is nothing bad about ordering through an authorized dealer- at least in my experience. all you might have to worry about is availability at the most.

Some have their own contracts in addition to AT&T's contract, that prevent you from making changes to your services for 90-180 days (depending on the reseller).  From my understanding, most AT&T-branded authroized resellers don't have this, but you have to check with the one that you are purchasing from.

If you don't plan on making any changes to your service levels, there probably aren't any other disadvantages.  I say get the phone that will make you happy from a place that will make you happy.

I went to a store on my lunch break today and they had no Idea if there would be any in white available tomorrow. I just called my local store that I was planning on going to and they said they just got the phones in for tomorrows release and there are 10 marble white ones available. Guess I know where I will be first thing in the morning.

hmmm.... its seems like locations everywhere are starting to confirm their arrivals! maybe AT&T will post the white version up tomorrow upon official release. that way those not able to get it in store can at least order it....

For the person questioning about an authorized retailer... I'm a store manager for an authorized retailer and we can do everything that a corporate store can. The only places I've seen problems is with like Best Buy and Radio Shack. They are not exclusively ATT like we are and so they don't know it like we do. So you might run into more problems going there honestly. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Don't worry about going to a retailer.

To all of those saying it may be available in white during launch, IT WILL NOT....otherwise, what is the purpose of them not showing the white version when pre-ordering the phone on the AT&T website? It will, however, be available about 2-3 weeks after the release of the titanium gray.

I'm going to be using this phone for the next two years, therefore, I will wait until the white version is released, and deal with my garbage iphone 4 in the meanwhile.

Yea, stores I called told me how many white phones they had in hand. I reserved a couple of white ones in two different locations in case one of them doesn't pull through then if it does I'll call to let them know I won't be needing it.

I visited a couple of ATT stores and two Best Buy today and I'm getting a lot of mixed answers. The first ATT store told me that they will only get grey in on Nov 9 and the other told me they will get some white and grey in on the same day. Next up, Best Buy told me that they can't even sell on the 9th and will be able to on the 11th. So I asked if they are going to get some white in and I was told(from the two stores) that they might later. Fair enough, I'm ready to wait for it. So just now I got a bit curious about reservation at a ATT store so I called the same two ATT stores. The first one told me that they are going to get some white and grey one in(wt_f right? the same store that told me they will only get grey) and I asked if they can verify that. The associate told me that it's for sure they have white and grey. Partial sastifed, I called the other ATT store and was told that they will only get grey(Same answer when I visited instore). So  at this point, I don't even know what's going with ATT with the white version.

I found out that only select ATT retail stores are going to have them november 11th . IF you want a WHITE NOTE II then call as many ATTstores in your area and go reserve it before tomorrow, I had to pay upfront and im picking up my white note II tomorrow.
