Lost Samsung galaxy s II trying to get a new one under insurance

So, about a week ago today I was on the subway and someone stole my phone, I just upgraded I think in May? Anyway, I went to my ATT store in my hometown but they didn't know what they were doing, basically I was told it's just a $100 deductible and I get a replacement phone. Well, I went this Monday to the store and paid the deductible and was told to file a claim for a new phone then I went home, about 2 days later I called and asked what the hold up was and why I didn't have any information, they said I was supposed to have filled out an affidavit while I was there which I was not aware of. So I went back the next day to fill one out this would've been yesterday Friday Nov. 9th. I was then told I would be emailed within that day about the status of the phone and when I could come pick it up at the store. I'm getting a little frustrated not knowing the process of anything. So I guess my question is, when do I get a new phone, and why is it taking so long when I was already approved and everything? Thank you for your time for anyone who can help clear this mess up.
