Have you tried opening up the phone settings and re-entering the wi-fi password?

The new upgrade is running very smoothly on my phone. I did a factory reset before the upgrade to avoid a bunch of possible issue. I think the best feature is that the USB OTG works without a Y cable now ...

I have the same wifi problem. Have you found a solution? I can connect to my router and cloud drive without any problem, but can not connect to the internet.

After reading other posts and solutions about phones not being able to connect to the internet using wifi, I decided to try a static IP. It works, but I also read that it's best to use DHCP if possible to avoid conflicts. Does anyone know of a better way?

I've had problems being able to use Wi-FI, not just with a phone but with laptop or tablet as well. In my case it turned out I was using a Cisco router that tended to "forget" what IP address was assigned to what on the wireless side. It took unplugging and plugging back in to reset it. (needless to say I changed routers) OK now.

Installed the update no issues so far
WiFi is working, the sync took a bit longer than it normally does but after running on 4.1.1 for the past two hours it's been fine.
I have noticed that switching between pages is smoother, over all it seems more responsive.

After the second attempt I tried one more time but this time I got the "No update available. Check again in 23hr." So I tried again in 24 hrs to get the same thing, "No update available."

Update downloaded fine and is running perfectly on my phone...my only concern is that when I open the task manager it seems to be running LOT of processes (around 770-800mb out of 1G) and that the keyboard is REALLY laggy at times...hope ATT will fix this soon

My wife's HTC One X got her update today, after I tried to "Check for Updates." Worked like a charm. We didn't have to Factory Reset her phone like we did mine.
I should note that my battery life has been vastly improved because of the update. I don't know what voodoo they worked with Android 4.1 on the hardware, but it's quite a bit better, especially with "Battery Saver" enabled.

Someone mentioned that the updates are coming in order of the IMEI number...So I'm pretty much guessing that the earlier you got your phone, the earlier you get the update...I purchased my phone a couple of days before it was actually released (Went and asked when they were supposed to come out, heard the release date kept getting pushed back, the guy at the store told me they had some in stock and offered to sell one to me about 3 days before it was actually released...they also told me that they had sold about 2 or 3 more before me, so it's not like I'm the only one) and I got my update the day after it was released...Hope this helped...and also, can anyone help me with this slight issue...Sometimes when I close a page on my phone, the notification bar dissapears for a bit on my phone and then sometimes by background goes blank. It's not really a bad thing, just annoying...anyone else have this problem?

Well there you go. AT&T took so long with this update because they had to make sure you had an ATT bar on your browser, that you defaulted to their nevigator, that you had their contacts running in the background, that you had their messenger, and to make absolute certain you cannot use Wi-Fi. How else could they screw your plan over for an extra $10-$20 in overage every month or get you to buy a more expensive plan?

Maybe if we pay AT&T a monthly ransom fee of oh, let's say $15, they'll let us uninstall their branded cr-apps. Nah, never mind. I shouldn't give them any ideas. ![]()
