I pre-ordered my phone at 12am the morning it was put up for preorder, i live in texas and my order still says processing, if it is not shipped when i wake up in the morning im just going to cancel it and go to the at&t store friday morning and buy it....

I live in Texas as well...got my tracking number around 5pm...but it didnt show it actualy shipped till 7pm. yours will come...be patient!

Absolutely, it isn't unfair until it is, but the problem is, and it's one that myself and several others have mentioned before, is that AT&T doesn't give its customers a straight answer when it comes to the status of their order. One representative told me it is backordered and I'd be lucky if I got it next week, one representative said it would ship on the 9th, one represenative said it would ship tomorrow, etc, etc.

If like you're guessing, AT&T just makes sure the phones before say the 6th get processed to ship and then from there it is handled in a random order, why doesn't AT&T just let their customers know this! It sure would ease a lot of the tension, would it not? In fact it would be beneficial for them because their customer support wouldn't have to address the same question over and over with different responses. Basically, there is horrible communication within the company, which causes customers to be left in the dark. 

If I were to just take the answer given by the first CSR I talked to as the one and only answer, which was "Your phone will ship out next week," in my mind it is an unfair situation since I preordered the phone as soon as it became available, yet I have to wait a week while others who preordered after me get their shipment notification. If someone that works for the company with which I ordered the phone from is telling me this information--who better to trust than someone responsible for customer service, right? But that's the problem, you can't trust them for the right information.

Yep, AT&T reps were all over the place...lots of complaints on that, no doubt. I agree. I don't know if it's because it's a pre-order...and not just a regular order where they had the phone in-stock. They moved the date ahead a day (for shipping)...not sure why. I don't know testing and branding process timeline...etc.

From the other forums talking about this too, it seems that no one should trust most of the reps in the case of this type of roll-out. Sprint reps and T-Mobile reps seemed the same way...not in the know about the details or totally just winging their answers. My friend has Sprint and I was told one thing he was told another. Lucky for him he went to the store and got it on the 25th (Sprint store).

They may have had to make a last minute 'executive' decision about the shipping date change...who knows. Not trying to be an AT&T apologist, because I hear you on this...and am annoyed by the date change. But, the whole roll-out to US carriers is annoying as it is. ~Somewhat~ understandable if you think about how Samsung has to do it's thing, announce it to the US...FCC had to test the device at some point too (I think it was in August though) then AT&T tests their bloatware, THEN AT&T rolls it out. Good thing we aren't with VZW...that is taking a h*ll of a long time for those customers. But, at least they get the Samsung TW multitask/multiwindows feature from the start (Sprint is getting an update in a few days, and I hope AT&T does the same).

As much as i'd like to understand the details -epically if I were still anxious about it- I don't think it makes sense for them to explain their shipping methods 'randomness' to us. It may not help ease anything and just raise more questions...as for some it may be good, and others may complain and feel it's unfair...yet, it may be the most efficient way for them to do it -for whatever reason. However, if you get it when we all get it, then it's all good in the end.

Might be something to some people being premier as that is what I was. I was waiting on the Lumia 920 but ordered a SGN2 because I didn't want to wait any longer.

Now I'm assuming that at some point tomorrow, we'll see comments from people who have actually received their phones!

I ordered on the 25th, (I'm pretty sure I was early since I had been waiting for pre-orders to start).  I live in Fort Lauderdale.  Fedex has me scheduled for delivery by 3pm tomorrow.  I'm surprised that people were not given the option of fedex next day delivery.

Alright, sorry I had to do that. But I'm sure your shipping info will update by tomorrow morning at least. Your stuff might already be on a truck (or plane depending on your shipping options) and may have just not updates on the website. 

Did you check both the "My Orders" and www.wireless.att.com/order_status/#   ?

I ordered through the premier site and it only gives 2day fedex but I see some were bumped to overnight.  Shipping times are all over the map for everyone.

10/24-11/6 orders will be received by 11/9. If you ordered after the 6th, then your phone will back ordered. Right when I announced this to the group. We all started to get confirmation e-mail. Keep in mine that there systems are backup and probably queuing as we speak to update everyone status to shipped with tracking number. Everyone will get there order, it just AT&T is working in a backward fashion.

Trust me its not back ordered. I have been told that 20 times and it shipped today. Thats like there automatic default answer. If you notice the 10/24-10/30 orders are trickling in slowly. You will get your shipping info. If you ordered between 10/24 to 11/6, your safe.

As for 'premier' accounts...I haven't seen any indication that they are getting preference or being ignored. Seems like all other orders from the 25th to the 6th, shipping today.

What time is it in TX? Probably still shipping, and shipping.

Look, I hear you and some of us are on here to help ease your anxiety and keep tabs on the progress (maybe for future reference)...I would want to know details and as much as possible from other's experiences if I were still waiting for my conf. At this point, I WOULD just relax...as things seem to be moving, as opposed to the days and weeks before all this.

Unless someone from the AT&T warehouse decides to chime in...and they seem busy now...we/you will not know the details. And once it's shipped you won't care.

I pre-ordered on the 25th and received shipping confirmation and a USPS tracking number this afternoon. Really excited!

Really bummed for you guys that ordered on the 25th like me but don't have a notification yet. I am coming from the iPhone (I have owned them all except the 5 and have been a day one iOS user) and it's amazing what a world of difference Apple made with how they handle product launches and sales of their phone. I didn't realize how good I had it until I pre-ordered this phone from AT&T. Can you imagine if Apple pushed their ship date back by one day?! THAT JUST WOULDN'T HAPPEN EVER. 

AT&T really needs to get on the ball here especially with one of the more important phone launches of the year. Their silence and lack of communication is inexcusable and it really doesn't make me feel that optimistic about leaving Apple especially when it looks like AT&T is blocking features like google wallet and will be slow to update the OS as google updates it. I feel like this company is just too old school and they really don't get today's user. 

I really hope I don't regret leaving the utopia that was Apple. I mean, yeah, when I had an iPhone I was still an AT&T customer but Apple made them invisible and that's the way AT&T needs to be. INVISIBLE. Times like this with them trying to pretend they know retail sales and the modern consumer's expectations just shows you how out of touch they are.
