Heard Galaxy Note II is starting to ship Monday!

I heard a rumor that the NOTE 2 will be shipping EARLIER than Nov 6th and may be available in stores next week.  The Nov 6th date is the latest it will ship.  Not sure how to confirm this but if anyone get's a shipping notice please reply.  Also, I think they will charge your card when ready to ship.

I just pre-ordered mine from the ATT Wireless site last night -

And Yes Today I checked and they did Charge Debit Card in Full - as opposed to placing an Account hold for the funds.

Looks like the Galaxy Note 2  may ship much sooner than expected!

weird - they didn't  charge my card or confirm delivery.  I think legally they are not allowed to charge card until ready to ship (ie. in a short time....)

Its simply stated as "processing" - not cleared yet. the amount was $311.99 because i also ordered a $12 cable.

Also the final charge amount wil be closer to $367 after they add CA sales Tax

Where did you hear this rumor? I can't find anything else on the web about the phone possibly shipping on Monday. Did you talk to an AT&T rep or something?

I ordered my phone at 11:45 on the 24th and they billed my CC card instantly.Email I received says I will receive it on 11/6 but it says pending shipment. I called AT&T and they said because it hit my CC he thought it would ship today 10/29

Yep confirmed, I have been told the same thing. Even though AT&T placed hold on my account, it disappeared, and then AT&T place another hold on my debit card.

Chat from AT&T representative:

Evelyn: Unfortunately, it is currently on backorder. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Evelyn: We have sold out of the device and are waiting for additional inventory. Unfortunately, we do not have an anticipated delivery date as inventory levels vary from day-to-day. You will receive an e-mail from us when your item has shipped.

How is AT&T stating "11/6" shipping and they are back ordered?? They need to note that on there website, if I had known I would have

just waited to get from AT&T store.

I ordered my phone at 11:45 pm on the 24th. I asked the rep how my phone could be on back order and she said, ohh sorry and I said you sold everything between 11:43 and 11:45 and got no response

AT&T is confused. When I ordered my wife iPhone5 i was told the same thing (back order) and I received the phone on the 9/21 release date. I think we all would have a better idea of the GN2 shipping either tomorrow, 11/6, or 11/7.

Just had another chat with AT&T Rep, now look at what they are saying:

Suzzanne: Welcome to AT&T online Sales support. How may I assist you with placing your order today?
A-N-D-R-O-I-D: Is the Galaxy Note 2 on back order? Or are you shipping 11/6 per ATT website?
Suzzanne: Shipping is to go out on November 6th

Suzzanne: I was told it wasn't let me double check.

Im seriously believing they will ship out the Note 2 tomorrow around afternoon time and pray it will be here by Wednesday!

I was hoping they would have shipped out today a little earlier but it still says my order is being processed. Ughhh

That's what I'm hoping that we all will get a e-mail confirmation tomorrow.

And seeing that AT&T charge my account twice (one charged dropped off) I would hope so.

I truly believe if the GN2 was backorder, the website would not reflect "Orders Shipping November 6th", but

rather something along the lines of the iPhone shipping message of "7-14 Business Days For Shipping".

I sold my HTC One X, so I'm without a phone, so I hope they keep to there 11/6 shipping time, LOL.

i had ordered an iphone 5 and remember it saying it would arrive in 7-14 days. but it ended up arriving the day it shipped out!!

they released my funds the other day. AT&T told me that as soon as i receive the shipment email it will automaticly hit my CC again.

Hi guys, 

I have ordered mine on Oct 29. And at that time I was aware that they are starting to ship on Nov 6. So, I asked 4 people today in their chat service and asked the same questions and it turned out that my order status on their end is : Shipment in Progress. 

When I checked my order status on my end, it says : Processing. 

I was also told that it will be updated tomorrow. Anyway, there might be a big possibilty that it will be delivered to my door step before Nov 9. I will be gone Nov 9 morning so I kept asking if they are positive and they said usually takes 2 to 3 days but they said theyre almost positive that it will arrive thursday. 

I cannot wait for this phone. Iphone 5 is sold. Time for samsung!

Shipping status still shows "Processing" with AT&T saying

phone back ordered and they now have no ETA on shipping.

When you preorder it says shipping "November 6th", but yet

no one is getting phone. Typical bait and switch as I was told

by AT&T rep I would get phone on or around the November 9th

when I preordered. For that matter when you click the preorder

button it still says shipping November 6th (today).

So frustrating!!!

you are so correct ATT must have the worst policy ,procedure and reps there because they are now also stating the ship date is for the 9th which is when the item will be shipped..so im guessing im going to cancel my pre order and get it at a store ...this was the worst ..att is surely getting cancelled,may look into verizon or sprint

I was thinking Verizon, but did you see all the Verizon Logos on that phone, its a walking billboard, lol.

Verizon even put a logo on the home button, are you kidding me....not to mention why they put all the

logos, its delaying there shipping to 11/27. Now sprint on the other hand has no logos I believe and

have phone available.

Yea, I'm going to call a ATT store and see if they will have some in stock if not, I might get sprint as

my contract is up with ATT. Will see.

Also it maybe hard to cancel preorder, because most of us did an upgrade for discount price and its in

AT&T system as an upgrade. See below:

"You are not eligible at this time for an upgrade at a discounted price. However, you can take advantage of our no commitment pricing. Additional discounts may be available on 5/31/2014."

They might make you wait for the preorder. Funny they locked us into another 2 year contract but we can get

the Galaxy Note 2 shipped to us. So if we cancel it might cause an issue when we go to the store, and next

thing you hear is well we have to wait to the system update or you just have to wait for preorder. So we might

want to rethink the cancel deal. If we do, it might result in us starting all over again.

I just notice my "cancel preorder" button is gone, lol......are they getting close to ship....Hummmm...confusing.

Just spoke to a rep, said there is a slight backorder, but that they are getting a new order of almost 6000 phones today and they should be out to ship later tonight. 

Hopefully we will get them this week.

Only 6K? That seems like a low phone count for Galaxy Note 2 caliber. AT&T acts like the GN2 is not a popular phone, LOL.

Didnt AT&T read that 3 million of the GN2's have been sold so far, and thats not even including the US carriers.

From ATT Rep Chat Window (Hope This Is True As We Are Getting Conflicting Stories From Them):

I ask regarding GN2 being back ordered and she replied:

Alexia: Yes, as of right now the expected ship out date is the same 11/6. We have not been informed of any setbacks on the shipments.

Alexia: November 6th is the date that the orders should be shipped out. Please wait for the email containing the shipping information on your order.

Alexia: I would give it to you myself but it has not been updated in the system yet.
