Ove the year mark when I started having problem with this phone.
Phone randomly shuts down for no apparent reason, at first it wasn't bad just once a week then it started doing it randomly throughout the day and now it wont even stay on without being plugged into a power source, even then it may shut down. I never had the issue before, I did not drop the phone and it hasn't gotten wet. Can't upgrade the phone because IM not within the two year window. Which puts me in a predicament. My feelings on the subject are not good to say the least Im paying for a smart phone and the only thing its smart about is power conservation when it shuts down. AT&T sells the product so in my opinion should at least have some kind of responsibility to the customer in this regards. I do know one thing if AT&T can't resolve this issue in some reasonably fashion I will end up going with another carrier and phone that has a better data plan. I have been with AT&T a long time but I feel it may be time to part ways because of the lack of support. I went to an AT&T store in Hopkinsville, KY and the Rep there was horrible with no suggestions other than Im sorry but your not eligible for an upgrade and it will cost you to cancel, luckily I only have 2 or 3 months before I could possible upgrade or cancel contract and go with another carrier. Sorry for the rant but Im in Hate mode at the moment and riding in the Whambulance for all the QQ.

Do have the HTC sense account on your Inspire? If so, delete it and that seems to solve a lot of issues with the Inspire. I deleted it months ago and do not have the issues others have with theirs.

Mine did that for awhile. Check under setting to see if you have an update available. When my phone was updated it stopped doing the shut down for no reason thing. It was a pain in the butt. I was in the middle of no where using gps to get me somewhere and it did that. Talk about ticked off.
