"No Service" in Costa Rica with 3GS

Hello, For some reason, after the second day or so of our trip in Costa Rica, instead of seeing I.C.E. as the provider, it says No Service. Our account has Standard International Long Distance enabled, which I have used in the recent past in China, Germany, Greece, all with the same iPhone 3GS. What's going on? Thanks, Charles

Try powering your device off for about 10 mins and try again.  If the network does not come back you will need to call customer care for hellp from another phone.  They will usually call you back so you don't have to run up a long call.  Tel. +1-916-843.4685

You can also call ATT's international division for free from Skype by calling their 800 number: 1-800-331-0500.

International Long Distance is for calling from the US to foreign countries only.  You want International Roaming.

But if you've had roaming service in other foreign countries, then it should work.  There is a lot of stuff that happens behind the scenes to get the local network playing well with AT&T.  So you best bet is to call AT&T customer service as recommended in the previous reponses.
