Can we please get an update on this "outage"
If this is not fixed by tomorrow, I am dumping this service (which I've had since 1996!!)
I was smart and bought an unlocked phone this time!!!

Visual Voice Mail with AT&T Services is down. AT&T Techs are working on resolving the issue at this time.

Sorry, that should have read VISUAL voicemail.
There has been a supposed outage since yesterday.
Also told the same thing by Tech Support over the phone this morning.
This seems to be an issue with newly activated phones.
UNACCEPTABLE regardless. The excuses don't pass the smell test when other people with existing phones are not having this problem.
Also, no offer of compensation to my bill from Tech Support when I called earlier either.

This must be a regional issue, because I was just in my visual voice mail with no issues. I listened to messages, and deleted some old crap that I should have gotten rid of weeks ago.

Not having a problem here.
You will more then likely not get a update on the forums though, they are a peer to peer forum with little official support other them private messages to specific addresses.

I am sorry that you're having an issue with your visual voicemail.
We are aware that some people are having trouble with visual voicemail and are working to resolve the issue.
You can still dial into the voicemail system to retrieve your voicemail by pressing and holding 1 on your keypad.
As of May 1st, I am no longer serving as the Community Manager for AT&T. This account will no longer be able to accept private messages. If you have an account related issue, please send a private message to ATTCustomerCare.

The issue I'm having with Visual Voicemail is that for the past two days messages are not arriving on my iPhone 5 until the next day. This is unacceptable. What's going on?
