Non smart phone palns
I am only interested in voice, text and picture. With a 2 year contract I can get a slider non smart phone, but I was told all plans include data. Why do I have to get data with a non smart phone?

Sending photos by text message requires data, and therefore a data plan, even a minimal plan. If you by your phone out right you can pay about $40 per month for line service and minimal data plan.
I suggest looking into other carriers if all you want is basic services for less money.
