Private Messages

When you’ve got something to share with another member that you don’t want everyone to see – send a Private Message. All you need to know is the other member’s screen name.
You need to sign in to view, create and respond to Private Messages. After you sign in, look for a blue envelope icon on the upper right of your screen. If there’s a number beside it – that’s the number of messages you have waiting to be read. Regardless - select the little blue envelope icon.
Have unread private messages? The number by the blue envelope icon on the upper right of your screen will tell you how many you have.
To create and send a Private Message:
- Sign In & click on the Private Message icon
- Select “Compose New Message”
- Enter the screen name of the user you wish to contact in the “To” field.
- Create your message in Rich Text or HTML
- Choose “Preview,” if you wish to double-check your message’s appearance
- Select the blue “Send Message” button
A private message can be read only by the recipient
To view your Private Messages
- Sign In & click on the Private Message icon
- Select “Inbox” or “Sent Messages”
To reply to a Private Message
- Sign In & click on the Private Message icon
- Select “Inbox,” and open the message to which you want to reply
- Select the blue “Reply” button
