Ok, I got a Microcell a couple years ago and stopped using it about 18 months ago (our ATT service was actually improved at that point). About a week ago, our wireless coverage went down the toilet, so I went to dig up the ol' Microcell. Now, when I had my microcell activated before it worked no problem with ATT DSL. I have since upgraded to ATT Uverse and my Microcell will not activate at all. I had it plugged in for about 40 hours and all lights are good except the 3g light (and the activation page has no indication of status). Anyone have any issues activating a Microcell with ATT UVerse? Am I missing certain modem settings that will get this thing to power on? Ive tried calling tech support, but of course they are as helpful as sandpaper toiletpaper.

If your cell phone coverage went down the toilet it could have something to do with your local tower which is why you can't activate. I'd try a hard reset ( holding in the reset button on the back for 30 seconds) and see if that clears your MicroCell. I'm assuming your physical address (billing address) and cell phone number hasn't changed. I'd also try to deactivate your MicroCell and then reactivate it again. If there has not been any actvity for 18 months on your MicroCell account, you may have been dropped from the database. U-verse should not have any problems with a MicroCell, but......
