I have had an AT&T 3G Microcell for the past several months. It was working just fine. Last night, the 3G light on it started blinking and it wouldn't connect to my phone. I tried to power cycle it. That did not work. I tried to power cycle my internet equipment. That didn't work.
I tried to disconnect it and reactivate it. The Power, Ethernet, and GPS lights are solid. The 3G light continues to blink. The activation progress is stuck at "Power up" even after 90 minutes.

Thanks for the info! Ours has been down as well and I contacted support and was told to deactivate and reactivate. Still down but they didn't mention the problem was on their end.

I've answered this in a couple of threads already but it bears repeating. When posting a problem here, especially the blinking green 3G light, it's always best to post your location as well. Switch failures can be localized or they can cascade thru a region if there are routing issues as well. Phone support is usually the last to know what the root cause is and will just have you go thru the scripted troubleshooing steps until network information is supplied to them. If a pattern is detected for a given area or region, the sooner the network engineers can isolate and fix. The MicroCell users will be the first to know if there is an issue so it's important for us to find out if it's a setup issue or a wider regional issue with AT&Ts servers or network.
