We have had the Microcell for a few months. It will work great for a week or so then suddenly our phones (HTC and Iphone) both loose contact with the Mcell even if we are right next to it.
Only solution is to reboot. At no time are there are any flashing lights only nice solid green ones.
Any ideas how to make this more reliable?

On the iPhone (at least the iPhone 5) you can reset the network settings which, amont other things, adjust its transmission/receiving power. This will reset your settings so it's best to have them written down first so you can quickly and easily put them back in. I don't know about the HTC. If all of the lights on the MicroCell are solid green, then it doesn't seem to be the MicroCell. It's possible that your ISP could be performing a daily maintenance which disconnects the MicroCell briefly which re-establishes the connection to your ISP but for some reason, it drops the phones. How exactly do you have it setup, network speeds, type of service, etc?

We have Uverse FTTH at 9MB. The Mcell is connected directly to the RG.

It's possible that the MicroCell is defective and if you've only had it for a few months, you may be able to get a warranty exchange, especially if it's been doing that since you got it. However, the fact that the lights always stay solid green is odd if it's defective. You can try a hard reset of the MicroCell by holding in the reset button on the back for about 30 seconds.
